Barceloneta is a renowned restaurant in downtown Barcelona. It is a popular spot both for tourists and locals. The location of the restaurant is near the marina area, which is a good place to relax. Barceloneta has a seafood-oriented menu which includes well-known usual suspects but with very fresh ingredients and cooked beautifully.
The calamari, octopus, and all other foods we tasted were very delicious. It becomes a real joy to have good seafood when done right. As the main course, we opted for the paella. It was also yummy.
The service is another noteworthy aspect. Our waiter was incredibly welcoming and cheerful. He was also very helpful, guiding us through the menu.
While the prices might be slightly higher than elsewhere, I believe the overall value of the experience is well worth it.
