Mazi is a beautiful hidden gem near Bodrum, and in some ways it reminds me of what Bodrum was like 20 years ago. What I miss most today is the simplicity of small villages and their gentle, old-fashioned charm, and Mazi still captures some of that feeling. It is a much smaller place, with a beach and just a few small hotels and restaurants. Nearby, you can reach several beautiful hidden beaches with a short walk. If you have an off-road vehicle, exploring inland can also lead you to similarly beautiful, secluded spots.
