Selimiye is a very cute small village. What makes it this special was its uncrowded feel. Unfortunately it is becoming popular nowadays so I am a bit concerned about the future progress.
Selimiye is also a very good shelter for sailors. Many of the sailors in the Hisaronu Peninsula come here to stay especially if the wind is too strong. At past, couple of times I had hard time finding a proper mooring because I was late. The good news however is; few years a go municipality completed a very good local marina.
There are many quality restaurants in the coast. Aurora and Sardunya, which I have commented, are my favorites. In addition you can also find boutique hotels and pensions to stay.
