White Horse is arguably the epitome of the ideal social pub experience, especially during the summer months. Its outdoor space overlooking Parsons Green is a true gem, perfect for enjoying a pint of beer, a burger or some food or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere. The extensive beer selection is another highlight. While it’s not your typical football match venue, White Horse is more about socialising.
The nickname “Sloaney Pony” often accompanies White Horse, likely due to its somewhat posh clientele. Historically, this term might have referred to the upper-class stereotype that frequented the pub, the way I see it today is that it has quite a fashionable clientele with people from all sorts of backgrounds. The relaxed vibe perfectly complements the general atmosphere of Parsons Green, where young and energetic professionals are the life of the party.
When the weather is good, the outdoor charcoal barbeque is a delightful feature. In winter, the tables around the fireplace offer a cosy alternative.
In summary, White Horse is an iconic landmark of the Parsons Green area and one of my favourite pubs in London.
