Yalikavak Patisserie is now permanently closed. We are keeping this post here to remember the great landmark it once was and the good old times where Yalikavak was a small, cute harbour. This Patisserie was one of it’s kind to offer delicious unpretentious good old desserts and It was one of the most significant spots of my childhood as well.
It’s been more or less 25 years the first time I’ve been to Yalikavak. It was a small village back then. I remember my father buying some hardware goods from the store nearby. Where he parked his car was literally by the sea but you can not see it if you don’t walk couple of steps . So I remember staying in the car instead probably thinking that there is nothing for me here. One time I decided to have a walk and then after a couple of steeps I saw this Patisserie. It was there at the very same place it is now, serving tasty desserts, cakes & ice cream. The Pyramid Cake and the Mixed Fruit Cake is my favourite. You can also try the milk-based desserts like Keşkül with a mix of ice cream.
